Mark’s 350z

Mark G came to ZCG to have his NISMO Z33 wheels re-finished, T/C bushings replaced and get an UPREV tune. Since his Z was a base model it didn’t have the fancy multi-function steering wheel…UPREV tuning maps can be selected via the steering wheel mounted buttons so we did a complete gauge cluster/steering wheel swap.  The clutch switch was also replaced for the cruise control “cancel” button:

On the dyno, Rob’s UPREV tuning yielded +10hp/10tq  for a total of 270hp/253tq to the wheels. Check out the significant gains from mid-range to redline:

Sportier Sedan: Daren’s G35

Daren S. wanted to make his Infiniti G35 Journey Sedan more exciting to drive on the commute. Better breathing can improve power so we bolted on  JWT dual POP chargers and a Stillen exhaust system followed by UPREV tuning.

The POP chargers also add a very throaty intake sound 🙂

The Stillen exhaust system replaces the restrictive OEM parts and makes getting on the throttle a bit more satisfying:

On the dyno, the intake alone made a noticeable improvement in power from 260hp/235tq to 264hp/243tq at the wheels:

UPREV tuning makes efficient use of these breathing mods for a final output of 276hp/246tq! Gotta love that huge gain under both hp/tq curves:

Whoa is just as important as go and there are many options out there for improving braking performance. Instead of a full-blown big-brake kit Daren opted for a Stoptech Sport Kit:

This is a great alternative to OEM parts. When coupled with our favorite 309 pad and Stoptech 600 fluid this kit is perfect for spirited driving whether it be on your favorite mountain road or commute!

Tung N. is an auto technician at a local shop and the owner of this beautiful 370z. Tung did a very clean installation of bolt-ons himself and came to ZCG for tuning. We are glad to see that he still enjoys working on cars as a hobby!

On the dyno Rob’s UPREV tuning yielded gains of 10hp/6tq for a total of 295hp/253tq at the wheels. Power delivery was improved throughout the rev range:

Gary M came to ZCG to have Stillen intakes installed and an UPREV tune to maximize the benefits of the new breathing mods. His G37 Convertible already had a custom exhaust installed so here is the baseline with mild gains from the Stillen Gen3 intakes alone for a total of 294hp/244tq to the wheels:

Rob’s UPREV tuning yielded +8hp/9tq to the wheels for a total of 304hp/253tq. On the dyno note the improvements from low rpm all the way to redline:

Just another example of how UPREV tuning can optimize your bolt-on power mods!

Once a Z owner, always a Z owner! Ruben is a long-time 350z owner and we supercharged his car several years ago, here are a few pictures:

Ruben is now the proud owner of this 2010 370z 40th Anniversary Edition and he came back to ZCG for some UPREV tuning. Check out the improvements in hp/tq throughout the entire rev range with peak gains of 16hp/12tq to the wheels for a total of 300rwhp/253tq:

We are pleased to hear that Ruben reports a more responsive engine from the UPREV tune!
