When we last checked in with Enrique’s
Project ’67 Camaro stunning paint and body work was completed:
The slick F-body then received major chassis developments with choice components from Detroit Speed Engineering(DSE). Up front, an entire DSE front clip was installed. This all-inclusive setup houses beefy upper/lower tubular control arms, coil-over shocks, and the power rack and pinion steering.
The clip is a complete bolt-on affair that replaces the stock subframe… modern sportscar handling here we come!
Massive 14″ rotors squeezed by BAER 6-piston brakes handle stopping duties:
On to the rear! The stock, leaf spring suspension was upgraded to a full 4-link setup with coil-overs and Panhard bar. The rear axle is a Ford 9″ with limited slip:
DSE’s popular mini-tub kit allows massive 335-width tires to fit under stock rear fenders:
