This 510 has a long history of racing, starting Larry Edwards who purchased it new from Newport Datsun in the early 1970s. The car would go on to successfully race regionally and nationally over a period of forty years at tracks such as Road Atlanta, Mid-Ohio, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Nelson Ledges, Summit Point, and Savannah. The car competed against the likes of Paul Newman, Dave Frellsen, and many other renowned racers of the period.
Under ownership by our client Randy Jaffe, the Newport Datsun 510 was raced in 2020 at Laguna Seca with the legendary John Morton behind the wheel:
