This Saturday there will be a huge GT-R gathering in SoCal. For more information please visit GTRLife.com and to view pics from the last year’s GT-R invasion HERE.
Long Live Godzilla!
Wayne McAtee and Troy Ermish
Here is a short video clip of the B-sedan race starting with Datsuns, Alfas, and BMWs:
One of the most exciting battles was between Troy Ermish (#38 510) and Jon Norman (#58 Alfa). These two mixed it up for the first handful of laps until Troy’s 510 had a suspension failure. Watch this short video clip from Turn 4…both cars foot to the floor and within inches of each other!
Of course the paddock is like a candy store for any gearhead with plenty of high dollar, rare and eclectic automobiles… like the track-prepped 300SL and ’59 Porsche 356A with a very trick 911 4-cylinder(yup, not a typo!)…check the gallery for plenty of pictures:
Come join the caravan to Laguna Seca this SATURDAY morning 3/23! The B-sedan races featuring several Datsuns are at 10am and 2pm. We will meet at Z Car Garage at 7:30am. This is a great opportunity to witness classic Datsuns driven in anger. Come out to ‘Seca and support your local racers!

Allen, Jen, and I met George and his buddy promptly at 7:30am. The GreenZ was loaded up, and the X5 made it’s maiden tow voyage with power, pride, and ease. George was ready for a day of fun in his Nismo 370z with Toyo R888 race tires, as was Allen in his Vortech 350z (on same tires). George’s friend in the C6 had never driven Seca, so he was excited. Jen was excited to take her first laps – in a car – around Laguna, as she and Scott had walked the entire track last fall at a PCA event.
The day warmed up, and all 3 Zs performed flawlessly. A few other ZCG customers were there as well in their Zs, as well as a plethora of 240Zs from the folks at Unique Towing. Big dollar Ferraris, 911s, BMWs, a Maserati, Lotus, and even a McLaren were in the mix for the day.
