This is your chance to drive your car in a spirited fashion in a controlled, safe, environment. Join me, NorCal UFO, ZoNC members, and other Datsun/Nissan enthusiasts at the 9th NorCal UFO autox of the year at Marina airport Sunday, August 1.

I will be running in group 2 since I’m in the “OSP” class, then working group four. It would be best to simply plan on meeting up in the morning either in San Jose or at Marina Airport itself. There is a mandatory driver’s meeting at approximately 8:30, and the first car goes out at about 9am. I suggest showing up at 7:30am for registration and to walk the course. The cost is $35/driver or $60/couple, and you must bring your driver’s license. Minors with a permit may drive with parental consent. If you show up to drive you MUST work for a session as well! All the scheduling is handled at the registration desk upon your arrival.
We’ll likely drive another ZoNC event later in the year as well, so stay tuned!

Road & Track magazine will feature a track test of the BRE 240z and BRE 370z tribute cars in their upcoming September issue. A video preview of the action is below and it is thrilling to watch! The BRE 240z replica belongs to Datsun fanatic Ron Carter and he deserves a big pat on the back for keeping Datsun racing alive.

To her surprise at the end of the session he proposed!

It is even better when you can be part of getting these cars back on the road so they can be driven 🙂 ZCarGarage restored this pretty 240z several years ago and the owner was kind enough to send this update. you restored back in 2003. I entered into a car show over the holidays and
