This morning we drove to Infineon Raceway to participate in the “TurnZ” event hosted by ZONC. Weather was stormy but we made it up to the event five Z cars strong. Only a handful of Datsuns/Nissans were parked at Turn Z and we were informed that other marques were also parking with us since their spots were too muddy. Rain in June…in the Bay Area…no comment 🙂
It was a great meeting Alex, owner of this ’68 2000 Datsun Roadster:
Despite the poor weather historic racers were still on the track, even in open-top cars! Eventually the rain came down too hard and the Trans Am race we wanted to watch just wasn’t happening. We did get to cruise through the paddock area/garages to look at the Trans Am cars and other historic metal…check the gallery for pictures.
We will have to wait until August to get our vintage racing fix at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion! Details can be found

More pictures in the gallery, enjoy!
