I had an absolute blast with everyone on this trip. The organization, the amazing roads, and the attitude of all who attended was top notch. More events should be like this one.
I will have all the photos and a full report by sometime tomorrow. I hope you all had a great weekend!
P.s. I’m in love with the 370z

Time flies when you work on awesome Z cars for a living. The ZONC sponsored cruise from Sacramento to Truckee is already here. I have put down the keys to my usual shop car so that I can take out the ZCG 370z on this drive and I’m excited. I will be picking up my co-pilot and then leaving the bay area around seven so if any of you see a red 370z on 680 or 80 towards Sac then it is a safe bet that it’s me. Feel free to drive with. See you out there!

That’s right friends! The long awaited ZCG 240z Big Brake Kits have started rolling in from our manufacturer. This kit has been over a year in the making and it is amazing to see them finally come into the shop as a finished product, we are extremely proud.
From the pictures below you can see that the black caliper kits were the first to arrive, we are expecting the rest of the black and red kits to be in house within the next couple of weeks. What this means though is that we can finally get a couple of the RB project cars off of the dolleys and onto the ground with some sort of real suspension beneath them, exciting right?!?
The nice thing about the kits themselves, besides being the best brakes ever offered for a 240z, is that everything needed to for the complete kit comes in two boxes! Even we don’t have to go searching for special parts, we designed it to be a one shot deal.
As soon as the kit start making their way onto customer’s cars I will have more photos as well as the reactions of the new owners, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime if you need to catch up on the past brake kit posts just click HERE.

I’m not quite sure how I missed this news in the automotive blog universe but it seems that Nissan has plans to release a special Nurburgring edition 370z to commemorate the entrance of a 370z in the 24hrs of Nurburgring in May. So far the car is only set to be released in Germany and only 80 are going to produced.
The only real differences from a standard 370z will be special “Premium Ultimate Yellow” paint, special decals (Nür Spec?), slightly wider tires, and an exhaust system change that should result in more beautiful Nissan sounds. No other mechanical changes have been announced at this time to indicate any improvement in performance which is why I think this special edition isn’t so special.
I haven’t found any photos of the finished car yet but the expected price with current exchange rates is going to be around $72,000. Why not just by two 370Zs right?
Thanks to
