This is a turn-key, Spriso Motorsports built restomod Datsun Roadster. Excellent power and reliability from the Nissan S15 SR20DE/5-speed drivetrain. Full chassis, suspension and braking upgrades. Ultimate in bright-work and style with NOS and rare parts utilized throughout. Details below:
Engine/Transmission/Rear End
Engine: S15 SR20DE engine (165hp)
- Ultra-clean, low mileage Japanese import (looks new under valve cover)
- New Nissan OEM water pump
- New Nissan OEM oil pan
- FWD SR20DE exhaust manifold with EGR port TIG welded shut
- New genuine Nissan tune up parts, distributor cap, rotor, plugs
- Engine cleaned up, detailed, with re-plated hardware
- Remanufactured Subaru Justy alternator on Spriso Motorsports alternator install kit
- New Spriso Motorsports motor mounts with new OEM Nissan isolators
- Valve cover repainted in Cherry Red with new OEM valve cover gasket
- New OEM Nissan exhaust, intake, and throttle body gaskets
- New OEM Nissan front and rear main seals
- New OEM Nissan fuel injectors on re-plated fuel rail
- New Nismo thermostat and lower water neck (with fan switch)
- New Datsun water temp and oil pressure senders to work with OEM roadster gauges for correct readings
- New Wiring Specialties EFI wiring harness, stock S15 SR20DE ECU, and NEW Nissan OEM MAF
- Exhaust- mandrel bent, TIG welded, stainless steel exhaust with Spriso Motorsports exhaust hangers , catalytic converter, and stainless megaphone exhaust tip to replicate the OEM look
- Custom Ron Davis 3-row radiator with Spal fan, and custom fan shroud ($1700)
- New NOS radiator overflow cap
Transmission: S15 SR20DE 5-speed transmission
- Cleaned & inspected, rebuilt by Marsh Transmission with new 5-speed syncro (OEM Nissan parts)—gear box shifts smooth and quietly with no transmission noise.
- NEW Exedy S13 SR20DET clutch on resurfaced flywheel
- Shortened driveshaft with new u-joints to match RX-7 rear end housing ($450)
- New clutch master & slave cylinder and flex line
Rear End: Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE LSD rear end
- 4.10:1 gear ratio
- Clutch type limited slip differential
Brakes
- Front: Spriso Motorsports 300ZX front brakes (all new components)
- Rear: OEM Mazda RX-7 rear disc brakes (new discs, new pads)
- New 7/8” brake master cylinder
- Steel braided brake lines
- All new hard lines (hidden)
- Wilwood brake bias valve
Body
- Clean, straight, stock 66 body with exterior stainless OEM trim
- Solid, rust free floors which have been refinished with POR15 and FatMat sound deadening
- NEW OEM Datsun roadster hood
- Front end has been hit in the past, and some wrinkling is visible forward of the core support on the inner fenders, the rest of the car is clean and straight
- Body has been refinished in Sting Gray (OEM Jeep color) with the engine compartment, and interior of the trunk painted to match.
- NEW weather stripping for doors and trunk, quarter windows, etc. None of the original was re-used.
- New NOS front turn signal assemblies
- New NOS rear brake light and turn signal assemblies
- New stainless rear trunk handle
- Brake pocket from a 67.5 has been added in to replace damaged stock 66 firewall. This is stronger, and offers better clearance in the engine compartment for future engine mods.
- Odyssey battery mounted under package tray with remote jump points, and remote Hella battery cut off switch.
- Datsun 1500 aluminum trim on the package tray area (very rare)
- Brand new front windshield with green tinted glass
- $5000 in new chrome work on windshield frame, quarter windows, door handles, headlight surrounds, etc.
- New Stayfast cloth soft top with powder coated front bow, new stainless steel 67.5 soft top latches, zip down rear window, refinished frame
- New NOS driver’s fender mirror
- Refinished door stays with new rubber
Frame/Suspension
- New upper and lower ball joints
- New upper dog bones, upper a-arm bushings, and OEM seals
- New lower dog bones, lower a-arm bushings, and OEM seals
- New steering rods

- New “super comp” front springs
- Resealed steering box with Penrite steering box grease
- Rebuilt front steering idler box
- Rear springs have been re-arched to provide a lowered stance

- New wiring harness thorough out the entire chassis, with improved grounds
